Michel Medrano Brindis was born in Havana City, Cuba.
In 2008 & 2009 Michel took part in the International Festival Jazz Plaza, with Orlando Sanchez “Cubajazz” and Rember Duharte & Nautilus. Michel has accompanied artists such as Jack Semple, Winosky & Horn, Marco Claveria and the rapper DEF 3. He played at the Sasktchewan Pavilion during the 2010 Winter Olympics, along with many others. In early 2011, he performed with many local and international musicians at the “Festival International de Jazz de Montreal”, “Francofolies”, “Festival Nuits d’Afrique” and many others all around Quebec.


Rémi begins to learn the trumpet at 6 years old. He went to the conservatory of Hull where he achieved a classic formation under the guard of Yves Lucier and Emmanuel Thouin.He starts to learn jazz with Rock Rangno, a very active local trumpet player. He made his studies at cégep St-Laurent with Jocelyn Couture and McGill University with Joe Sullivan. He finished his bachelors at the university of Montréal under the teaching of Ron Di Lauro. Remi plays in some pop an jazz band likeVic Vogel Big Band, Christine Jensen Big Band, Orchestre National de Jazz de Montreal and with his own funk band: The Liquor Store.


Simon begins to learn classic piano at the Creteil conservatory at age of 6 years old. After his classical studies he starts playing keyboard and jazz piano with a lot of artist from Paris.

In 2014 he finished his bachelors degree at the University of Montreal. In 2015 he releases his first album: Between Two Worlds.


Clarence Corbeil begins to learn the percussion at 10 years old with his first mentor Raynald Masse.
He goes to Cégep Marie-Victorin where he was mentored
by Alain Labrosse. He graduates in 2016 under the teachings of Luc Boivin.

He learns drums by himself and he applies the teachings of Horacio Hernandez and Giovanni Hidalgo. He begins his own band Montreal Cubop project and he also plays with bands like El Hispalis, Timba MM and La Alianza Carmona.


Juan Pablo Carmona, bassist , arranger and composer of great talent and sensibility was born in Colombia and came to Canada at the age of 16. He made his interpretive jazz studies at the University of Montréal under the teaching of Frédéric Alarie and Michel Donato. He also participates in the big band of the university and shared the stage with musicians such as Randy Becker, Paul Brochu and John Roney. In 2016 he launched his project La Alianza Carmona
